​I received 4 handmade thank you cards yesterday at the last lessons of the year.  The personal ones are my favourites!  When a student takes the time to say something about their piano lesson experience, I am filled with gratitude that I get to do this job.  It's not just about music, it's personal :)

To say this year has been unique would be quite the understatement!  But as I reflect on all of it, there are so many things to be grateful for.  I am especially thankful for the students I have had the privilege of teaching over the past 10 months.  

Playing piano is a gift we share.  It's not something to be nervous about, it's an invitation to enter in to the emotions the music wants to bring to anyone who hears it.  I'm looking forward to our celebration of the hard work (practicing) of all my students.  It's a party!  And there are snacks!
