​I received 4 handmade thank you cards yesterday at the last lessons of the year.  The personal ones are my favourites!  When a student takes the time to say something about their piano lesson experience, I am filled with gratitude that I get to do this job.  It's not just about music, it's personal :) 

​Wishing all my students and their families a wonderful summer break.  Looking forward to seeing you all again next fall.

My students are heroes!  They are gaining incredible skills as they learn about what it takes to become a musician.  And these skills become useful in many other areas of their lives. 

​I'm so proud of how they have worked and it makes my heart happy when they begin to put the pieces of the mystery of music together!

To say this year has been unique would be quite the understatement!  But as I reflect on all of it, there are so many things to be grateful for.  I am especially thankful for the students I have had the privilege of teaching over the past 10 months.  



And I am so incredibly proud of what they have accomplished, their determination to carry on and play their song, even when there really could be no one listening (except me!).  ​


​In a few days we will celebrate this together, safely.  Finally there is a chance to share the gift that has consistently given life to us through a challenging time.  Yay! ​
