Music is a journey:
  • ​Playing piano has provided the background to a wide variety of experiences in my life and I'm grateful for them all. 
  • My love for teaching piano began when I was a young teenager.  
  • ​Since then it has been my privilege to work with many individuals at the keyboard, fostering a love and respect for the instrument and its potential.

​I believe music is a gift and I have been involved in music education for most of my life! 

Playing the piano and being part of a student's adventure into discovering the gift of music is my passion.  

​In my piano studio, I offer opportunities for students of any age to embark on their journey of musical discovery.

From beginner level to Grade 8 RCM (Royal Conservatory of Music), the focus on is individual learning styles, having fun with music ​and performance opportunities.  
Music is a gift that keeps giving!  Several students of mine have become piano teachers or music leaders themselves.  It's a beautiful thing to observe the deep confidence and intrinsic motivation that develops in students over time as a result of consistent effort, high expectations and steady encouragement!
